VGR TransfusionMedicine Implementation Guide
0.4.1 - qa
This page is part of the VGR Transfusionmedicine Implementation Guide (v0.4.1: QA Preview) based on FHIR (HL7® FHIR® Standard) v5.0.0. No current official version has been published yet. For a full list of available versions, see the Directory of published versions
Contents:
This page provides a list of the FHIR artifacts defined as part of this implementation guide.
These define constraints on FHIR resources for systems conforming to this implementation guide.
| BloodCenterLocation |
Physical location of a blood center. |
| LabResult |
An profile for any lab result in transfusion context. This profile can be used for all laboratory tests where the analysis has one outcome value. |
| RBCUnit |
A profile for red blood cell units in the context of blood transfusion. |
| SEBaseOrganizationR5 |
A profile for organizations in a Swedish contexts. Here used to repressent the blood center that dispanses RBC units and run transfusion relevant laboratory tests. Inspired by the Swedish base profile for organization. |
| SEBasePatientR5 |
A profile for a patient, based on the Swedish base patient profile. This profile includes specific identifiers relevant to the Swedish healthcare system, such as personnummer, samordningsnummer, and reservnummer. |
| TransfusionEvent |
A profile for the reservation, dispense and status of adispensed RBC units. This information should only be shared if the assicoiated RBC unit has the product status Applied. |
These define sets of codes used by systems conforming to this implementation guide.
| ISBTProductCodesVS |
Examples serving as placeholders for ISBT 128 product codes for red blood cell products. This value set is used for the productCode element in the RBCUnit profile. |
| ISBTPropertyTypeVS |
Examples serving as placeholders for ISBT 128 codes for describing the property type of a RBC unit |
| ISBTPropertyVS |
Examples serving as placeholders for ISBT 128 codes for describing the property of a RBC unit |
| NPUTransfusionCodesVS |
NPU lab test codes for laboratory analyses common in transfusion medicine. |
| TestMethodVS |
SNOMED CT codes representing laboratory methods relevant for transfusion. |
| TransfusionLabResultVS |
Selected SNOMED CT codes for transfusion-related laboratory results. |
These define new code systems used by systems conforming to this implementation guide.
| ISBTCS |
Examples serving as placeholders for ISBT 128 codes for red blood cell products. This code system is used for the productCode and property elements in the RBCUnit profile. The ISBT 128 codes included in this CodeSystem are used under the license held by V??stra G??talandsregionen for ISBT 128, associated with site code S0031. |
| NPUTransfusionCodesCS |
A code system for NPU codes related to transfusion laboratory tests. |
These are example instances that show what data produced and consumed by systems conforming with this implementation guide might look like.
| Blood Center at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. |
Examplifies a blood center at a hospital in V??sta G??taland Region. |
| Blood Center in Region Halland. |
Exemplifies a blood center in Region Halland. |
| Blood group result with result value O+ |
Exemplies a blood group result of a patient with blood type O+. |
| Lab result for a serological cross match test with value 'Compatible' |
Exemplifies how LabResult can be used to repressent a compatible serological cross match using a string as result value. |
| Lab result identifying anti-Jka |
Exemplifies how antibody findings can be repressented by ImmunhematologiObservation |
| Patient receiving care in another region. |
Examplifies a patient requiring blood transfusion while receiving care in another region. |
| Physical location of the blood center at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. |
Functions as a link between BloodCenterVGR and TransfusionEventVGR |
| Physical location of the blood center in Halland |
Functions as a link between BloodCenterHalland and TransfusionEventHalland |
| Positive Antibody Screen |
Exemplifies how LabResult can be used to repressent a positive antibody screen. |
| RBC unit containing O- blood that has been transfused to a patient. |
Example of how information about a RBC unit can be represented.n Note that all ISBT 128 codes are just made up examples and not the actual codes. |
| RBC unit with Jka antigens that has been reserved but not adminstered to a patient. |
Example of how information about a RBC unit phenotype can be represented. Note that all ISBT 128 codes are just made up examples and not the actual codes. |
| Transfusion dispense of an RBC unit with O- blood type. |
Example of how a transfusion dispense event can be repressented. |
These are resources that are used within this implementation guide that do not fit into one of the other categories.
| Parameters for Terminology selection of SNOMED CT-SE |
This parameter resource is used to specify the system version of SNOMED CT-SE to be used in the terminology service. |
